5.7 Langvasshøi 2030m

The south side of Visbretind as seen from Skarddalseggi rising above Langvatnet lakeLangvasshøi, 2030m, lies to the south of Visbretind, where it a large broad peak on the south ridge of Visbretind. If Visbretind is climbed via the preferred main route or the alternative route from Langvatnet then Langvasshøi must be passed en route to the summit. The top of Langvasshøi is composed of very hard and rough iron-rich rock which creates havoc with the compass needle.
