This undulating ridge is ideal for ski touring and an ascent of Hesthøi could be extended to include Lomseggi, and as such is ideally climbed from Lundadalen. This is a long but rewarding day and is the route I would recommend and is described below.
Like Lomseggi, Hesthøi can also be climbed individually and the best starting point for this is from Netosætri in Bøverdalen which I also describe.
