Food and provisions can be bought in all the small towns like Lom, Øvre Årdal, Fagernes, Otta, Sogndal Stryn and Dombås in Norway and in north Sweden both Kiruna and Gallivare in North. In each of these towns there is at least one supermarket, a bank autoteller for cash withdrawals and a fuel station.

Opening Hours

The supermarkets usually close at 2000hrs Monday to Friday, 1800hrs on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. The fuel stations usually close at 2200hrs seven days a week.

Sports Shops

Each of these towns, also has a sports shop but the only ones to cater well for alpine sports are in Lom Fagernes, Stryn and Gallivare. Camping gas is available from any of these. The sports shops close around 1700hrs Monday to Friday and midday on Saturday. The equipment is much more expensive in Scandinavia and it is best to take the main items with you.
