There is a marked route up to the top of Veslesmeden. The route starts at Rondvassbu lodge, and heading west, follows the path, Ro.3, to Dørålseter via Rondhalsen to the west of Rondvatnet lake.
Near the top of Rondhalsen the path to Veslesmeden forks of to the north west and climbs onto the ridge. The path then follows this ridge to the summit. A full description of the path is on the Veslesmeden page.
